Tour of Duty XII

ROAD TO CORUSCANT

After the narrow escape of the prisoners
on Zalrathir, the Mon Calamari cruiser
MORNING STAR has decoded plans for one of
the future Imperial Strikes near the Core.

As they head out to investigate, the
PROVISIONAL COUNCIL of the New Republic have
decided that a strike at the core, and
CORUSCANT is the next move.

While the main taskforce goes through
Borelieas, RED and BLUE SQUADRONS will
have a more difficult route to reach the
heart of the Empire, and the Imps don't
seem to like it...

Part 1: There's Something Happening at the Core

01 Ambush (Red, X-W)
General Crix Madine has our orders, and Red Squadron is to meet with him.
1 Lambda class shuttle (Madine), 2 FRG (Condor & Vulture)

Red must force both pirate FRGs into hyperspace. Z-95s, T-W, R-45 and Y-W.

02 Outbound (Blue, B-W)
Before we leave the sector, we want to check up on a lead, so while Red gets Madine, Blue'll complete the mission.

1 FRG Regis, 1 FRG Expulsion, 2 COR Dazzle & Crater
Take out Dazzle and Crater after inspection, then capture FRG Expulsion after inspection. Regis will have the ATRs.

03 Inspection (Red, A-W)
The Expulsion had the plans for a major training installation for the best of the best Imperials. We want to send in two A-Wings to check out the situation.
1 PLT, 1 VSD Harmony
Simple snoop'n'scoot, nearly no action just go in and round to the jump point

04 Assault (Red, A-W; Blue, B-W; Red Trainee, X-W)
General Madine has deemed this assault nessasary before we do what he wants, so we'll be sending just about everything we've got at hand.
1 CRS Morning Star, 1 FRG Regis, 1 PLT, 1 VSD Harmony
Blue will neutralize the PLT, while Red and Trainees cover. Regis will have ATRs for capturing and the Star will pound the Harmony, with help from Blue once they neutralize PLT.

05 Escort (Red, X-W; Blue, Y-W)
To plan for the next major offensive against the Empire, a train of goods are being sent to us. Blue and Red choose to escort them, because no telling what might happen.
2 FRG (Tyria & Beagle), 13 FRT, 1 INT Biolodrown, 2 COR Sideshow 1 & 2
Take out INT and make sure 50% of FRTs and at least one FRG survives.

Part 2: The Road to Coruscant

06 Warm Welcome (Red, X-W/A-W; Blue, B-W)
General Madine has given us a destination, and we have plotted it - which will take us through the Unknown Regions, but at the same time put us dangerously close to Coruscant. Here, an old menace returns...
1 CRS Morning Star, 1 FRG Regis, 1 ISD Wisdom, 1 VSD Carrefon
Jump out, Blue launches a feint against VSD while Red covers them. Mission ends when MS and Regis jump out

07 Probing their Defenses: Red (Red, A-W)
As we don't want to go to far into the Unknown Regions, we want to probe their defenses. A strike at two differant bases might do it.
1 FRG Regis, 25 asteroid mines, 1 asteroid hangar, 1 FRG Doppler, 12 comm sats
Take out the comm sats, then weave through the mines and engage Doppler. Regis will attack the asteroid hangar

08 Probing their defenses: Blue (Blue, X-W/B-W)
As we don't want to go to far into the Unknown Regions, we want to probe their defenses. A strike at two differant bases might do it.
1 CRS Morning Star, 1 shipyard, 2 COR, 30 mines, 4 comm sats, 1 VSD Carrefon
From the attack from Blue Squadron, VSD Carrefon is still at the shipyard for repair. Blues in B-Ws are to take out the shipyard (neutralize), VSD, and Corvettes, while Blues in X-Ws cover. CRS Morning Star will also launch against the shipyard and VSD.

09 To the Limit (Red, X-W)
After the assault, Red Squadron heads out to get to where Blue Squadron lead the attack.
1 FRG Regis, 1 M/FRG Glory Days
The Reds are ambushed by a Modified Frigate. They must take this guy out and head to the Morning Star, cover FRG Regis as it makes it's escape.

10 Scamble (Red, X-W; Blue, X-W)
Red Squadron has made it back intact more or less. Now, they have re-united with the Blues and the MS. Just in time to scramble!
1 CRS MS, 1 FRG Regis, 1 shipyard, 1 ISD Wisdom, 2 FRGs (Ox & Yak)
Defend the MS and Regis as they makes their way out to hyperspace.

11 Standing our Ground (Red, A-W/X-W; Blue, X-W/B-W; Training, X-W)
Blues and Reds will be split into two groups, A-W and B-W groups will launch against the FRGs, while Reds and Blues in X-Ws will deal with Fighters. Once FRGs are gone, the MS, Regis, B-Ws (still covered by A-Ws) will go for the VSD Lady Luck
1 CRS MS, 1 FRG Regis, 1 VSD Lady Luck, 2 FRGs (Ox & Yak)
Destroy VSD and two FRGs

12 Lost and Found (Red, A-W; Blue, B-W)
Near the planet Iberya (from which a pilot in Wolfshead is from) a lone planet named Tyshkan had an abandoned platform and shipyard orbiting it. Some pirates have taken over.
1 CRS MS, 1 FRG Regis, 1 shipyard, 1 PLT
Red will take out the fighters while Blue captures the shipyard and PLT. Regis will send Gundarks. Z-95, T-W, R-45, Y-W, and X-W

Cutscene
Gundarks capture platform, CRS MS puts in for repairs. The PLT is taken over by the MS's regiment. Regis guards shipyard, few patrols, many starfighter repairs. The PLT is brought up to operational standards

Part 3: The Battle of Coruscant

13 Spies (Red, X-W; Blue, Y-W)
During a patrol, the Rebel fighters spot a FRG spying on them. The FRG launch fighters
1 PLT, 1 FRG Regis, 1 FRG Tyrannus
Red quells the fighters while Blue stops the FRG from escaping

14 Bring It On, It's Party Time (Red, X-W; Blue, B-W; Training, A-W)
A message was transmitted from the FRG, and the Wisdom now knows where we are and in what state we're in. Get ready to party.
1 PLT, 1 FRG Regis, 1 Shipyard/CRS MS, 2 ISDs (Wisdom & Rage 2)
Take out Rage 2! its on an intercept course for the shipyards. Blue will have to take it out while Red covers. As we need everyone, the Trainees will cover the platform. Wisdom escapes as soon as the Rage 2 is blown.

15 Joining the Fleet (Red, X-W)
After a few weeks since our last confrontation, we'll be joining the Republic's Fleet to assault Coruscant. CRS Morning Star and FRG Regis have been repaired. PLT was left under command of others.

Many different types (maybe one or two of our Alliance?)
Join up and escort the Star and Regis untill they enter hyperspace, fake out mission.

16 Assaulting the Imperial Center (Red, X-W; Blue, B-W)
The assault begins!

Many differant types, Imp and Rebel. Includes Wisdom. (maybe others from our alliance or enemies from the past?)
Battle, defend MS and Regis, take out Wisdom and/or other Imps ships, take out fighters, the usual.

Back
